Learning to sit still!
This boy is one of the children from the ‘Mount Horeb School’ that opened last year in the rural area of Cacador. Never having been in school before, it was real learning curve for this mischievous child and the rest of his class. Learning to sit and listen to the teacher and follow instructions was something that smacked of hard work and was not fun at all in the beginning. But he has adjusted and is now actively engaged in school! We love seeing children’s lives being transformed.
Don’t you love the cereal bowl haircut?
Hopefully we can get sponsors for all these children who are getting their first crack at going to school. It pays to invest in the life of a child.
